Cree lights?

Post by garyboy »

Cree lights seem to be the preferred front lights?
what do you recommend ?
its for my crf250L and I want a pair that will fit somewhere on the forks? or somewhere below the headlight.
not too much battery drain, but fitted direct to the battery, with on/off switch, and possible head/dip
Quite bright but not too heavy?
tia

o .. and answers before midnight? .. and not too expensive, but good quality and waterproof?

A pair of these

Will be more than bright enough to light up yours and Cones love tunnel

I got a pair on the bike wired into a permanent live with a switch. Very low draw so handy if you ever need light without the ignition or engine running. Can happily leave them on long enough to set up tent

Not sure where you want to mount them
Mine are on my crash bars using

Have a search you can get ones that will fit your front forks
They do actually come with a flat bracket .
My switch is a small waterproof flush fitting rocker switch mounted non dash. You can get waterproof switch that mount on handle bars think heated grip switch

I would post some pics of all components but this sight makes posting pics such a chore.

Greetings,

Simply as a back up incase of 12V bulb failure I have a bicycle orientated cree style light similar to the one here;

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/263639958106

It works really well for a simple single unit.

I've got the same ebay cree's as mentioned above. Mounted on the R&G lightbar. They're really good, BRIGHT, and cheap as chips. I also found and bought amber lenses (ebay link) , so you can run them as daytime lights without pi**ing off cagers, and as fog lights.

just bought some of these that I'm planning on fitting to the wr450 after another terrifying ride home in the dark recently after a day on the lanes, lit only by the stock "candle" headlight.
I am thinking of splicing into the high beam live to draw power for them... stock output stator, to much???
I am also planning on fitting some heated grips, (the laminate element type that go under stock grips).possibly through indicator switch. again, will I be asking to much of the stock stator.

kev.
