don't know ..
but Tim reckons the lights have a low draw .. and I know the Symtec type under-grips only draw about 3 or 4 amps.

Re: Cree lights?
If memory serves, the spots only draw 3amps.
With the symtec heat Daemon pads make sure you don't use a thick or to dense a grip as this reduces their effectiveness.
Otherwise they are good.

Re: Cree lights?
Gary I have a similar pair of these attached to my mtb for trail riding at night. I run them for 4.5 hours of a 22v battery. Perfectgaryboy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 7:32 am thankyou all for your help … I have ordered Tim's recommendation
(4x18w cree led for £20)
and hope to fit both my bikes with the item, ((2 each
I have got a some wiring off my old symtec heated undergrips and a spare switch,
if I can find it
[[will report back after they arrive]]
will have to figure out how to fit/attach

Re: Cree lights?
Paul, I noticed these lights gave the voltage as 12-22v .. so does that mean they can be run off a 12v battery and also a 22v battery, that is smaller and more portable?
Re: Cree lights?
Excuse the mess of my garage but I have the single row less 18w each. For my bike I run them of a 22.2v battery with 6500mah (from a drone) which fits neatly into an energy bag strapped to the head. You can run these ones from any voltage between 12-30v

Re: Cree lights?
I have been running with a set for the last 3 years.
They have high, low and flashing settings .
High is great on empty roads low is a good light too and doesn't offend oncoming traffick, I have only used the flashing a couple of times, once when at the scene off an RTA and once whilst filtering down the motorway heading back to Calais ( the French bikers had their hazard flashers on but I prefers the spots as it leaves the indicators free ).
Also if you go to Europe you can angle them easily so the kerbside is better illuminated.
I too have bicycle LED's fitted,I use them for parking lights, no drain on main battery and handy should the electrics fail
