I've had zeta on a previous bike. They were finr for the money.

Similar to these. In essence, reasonable protection at cheap money.

in my experience cheap handguards turn out to be expensive when you"ve paid for the third set.cycra cost more money but are fit and forget in terms of durability.

I ordered some Acerbis Rally Profile guards and to mu surprise they don’t fit !!! The expander is too small 15-16mm dia for the standard CRF250L bars. 22mm O/d and looks like 17/18mm i/d.
Can anyone recommend some hand guards that definitely fit the standard CRF250L bars ?

Cheers

Paul

Would it be worth upgrading to some Renthals?

Have fitted Renthals to every new bike I've ever had, and used all sorts (Cycra, Acerbis, cheap Chinese etc.) of handguards, and everything fitted without problems.
(As said the Cycra one's dearest, but best)

Plus the added bonus of non-bendy bars :)

Maybe before I fitted heated grips and that. Until I bend the ones on it I don’t think I will change them. I maybe do a bit of dirt tracks and green lanes but nothing crazy Image
Found a Youtube video of Zeta Armour guards and they come with a fitting for standard steel & larger upgrade bars. They fit straight onto the CRF so exchanging for them I think

As previously said, I've got cycra and are brilliant, very pricey but I've had some big tumbles and they've stood up Brill, even had to straighten them up after a few offs, still good to go.

Wow Image a touch too expensive for what I will be doing. I just spent around that on bits for the Speed Triple from Evo tech. The wife would kill me !!!
