Cabon Skinning Kits

So I was wondering whether anyone here had experience of the Carbon skinning kits.

They seem expensive for a small amount - about £40 from carbon mods.

Can you buy the items separately to make it more economic?

I damaged the motorguard on my E-bike the other night on the aptly named trail Rockadilo! Cant find one on line to replace it so will need to go directly to cube or I repair it my self.

These kits look like they'll add additional strength and I can cook them afterwards to make the heat resistant. Are they easy to give a good finish, as anything youtube makes it look simples!
