Intercoms on a budget
Intercoms on a budget
I know the truth of what you pay is what you get but does anyone have any recommendations for intercom sets which for a pair would be in the £200 to £250 range? Or is there a way of having a more expensive rider one and a cheaper pillion one for my son who will only use it 3-4 times a year? Looking at all of the reviews they end up being £300 to £400 for the pair. Not so much the budget but being able to justify quite an expense for so little use. Thanks

Important Tips:
String must be longer than this and you must ride close enough to one another, otherwise communications are rapidly curtailed.

Motorola T60 walkie talkies have port for headset and mike and a vox setting. Not much bigger than a mobile with a good strong clip.
I have only used them for trail riding without headset as we stop to talk but loud enough to use with helmet on maybe worth a look as a cheaper alternative to a dedicated set

M&P have an offee on Interphone intercoms at the moment.
We have the sport and it's very clear and lasts a couple of days normal riding.
