It's probably because with every order, Touratech send their catalogue which weighs a tonne! I remember ordering a side stand foot and having to pay £8 postage and it took a good couple of weeks to arrive... probably because it gave the postman a hernia

Think how much the postage would be without all the holes in it.

Mind you, it would be a bugger to buy that then your reservoir gets broken through one of the holes.

I wanted to order a small brass bush from the USA today. It cost $8.50 and was about the size of the end of my little finger. They wanted $52 postage & packing. No thanks.
