Cheers Keith, yep going through the motions as I type, just waiting on payment code and hopefully done, send mine off.....got my daughter to backup all my routes, info, etc....happy days. Surely can't be this simple, will keep you all posted.

It is that simple!! I've had to send two back over the years and it's always been a slick process, i've even had them transfer any lifetime maps from old to new.

I've done the replacement thing too when I cracked the screen.

When you send yours back Steve, take the battery out. The new one will come with a battery included so you'll have a spare :D

Sent it off this morning, soooo we 'll see what happens.....very helpful so far, even the post lady was friendly lol :D

Love it down your way keith, would of moved near Oleron / Arrete a few years ago.....but one thing and another.....lovely part of France.

Well, just received email from Garmin saying my Montana or replacement unit is on its way back to me.......that is brilliant news, and a fast turn round, all for £118......as long as the post service does it's bit, happy days. Bugger, just thought, I've got to try and put all the info back on it, might have to ask a few favours on that one..... :lol:
