This is what I use on my DR650 (Phil's idea first) , just bolt straight into the passenger footpeg holes

Were the holes threaded? On the CRF they aren't so you would need those things to be longer.

Yes they were, you could use a nylock on the other side on the CRF?

Ah yes was it the hanger bolt points?

Yes I've gone for some of those bolt on straps as they a practically weight free. I didn't enjoy cutting the pin off :(

I was searching for the same thing a couple of weeks ago,just seen this thread and it reminded me to order some.i found a site called "rock n road 4X4" have a look on the cargo control hardware page and look at the item called "anchor plate-webbing" I just ordered two of those.
