I currently have the BMW original tank bag for my F800GS, but on my recent trip through Finland and Norway I found it got in the way when trying to ride standing up. Which was annoying as it meant I could not take advantage of all the lovely unsurfaced roads in those two countries.
Can anyone recommend a tank bag that doesn't get in the way when standing up?

I use a givi tank lock ? One on the s10 as it sits on top so I don't get the problem you describe. Trade off is its not large but it does for me.

Paul, I've still got my Touratech Tank Bag even though I've sold the F800GS , it served me well off-roading . PM me if you are interested in it please.

I've got a cortech tank bag for an F800gs with all the fittings, not big but its a quality American bag around 18/20 litres. Not in perfect condition but only £30. I can post pictures if you're interested

Not an option on the 800 GS, as I don't think there is any way to mount the tank lock. But I may be wrong.
