Honda Dominator panniers ?

I have recently bought a 1989 650 Dominator and wonder if anyone knows of or has seen a set of aluminium panniers for it? I want to tool the bike up for general brapping around and weekend trips into the wilderness, has to be aluminium though i'm not keen on fabric or plastic

I've got a 91 dommie which had plastic krauser panniers on it when I got it, I briefly had a look for some racks for it but there aren't many around, hepco and Becker do one but its 95 onwards. Most people seem to build their own.

I bodged on a set of givi racks from a CBF 500 I had lying around but went down the soft bags route anyway.

Thanks for that, my trade used to be welding until an illness put paid to it so fabing some up may be the way to go

Yeah its a pain in the arse tbf, but if you can fabricate some then that's a while other ball game. I never learnt to weld so I end up just bodging and altering stuff to fit
