Re: Lomo Bags
I bought a 60 and a 40cozi70 wrote:Have you any pictures of these 3 different sizes on your bike.Peirre wrote:People are sometimes too dismissive of lomo when they see the prices, because they think cheap = crap which couldn't be further from the truth. I own 1x 30ltr bag, 2x 40ltrs, and 1x 60ltr roll bags. ALL have given me great service.
I'm unsure which size to order.
Cheers

40 everytime on the bike - 60 is just too big (thumbs)
As posted earlier - Rokstraps all the way to secure
When nothing is going right - go left
Re: Lomo Bags
Another here in praise of Lomo. Two 40 litre that have been toted around the USA and UK without any probs. They are off to Alaska with the bike soon and i don't envisage any probs. with them. Great product at a great price provided by a great company (thumbs)
Re: Lomo Bags
A 60ltr would be OK on a road trip on a GS travel barge with panniers fitted, but anything less, 30-40 every time. As they can seem "floppy" when across the seat, which is why I have a length of 12" White UPVC soffet board (that's curled up/contoured along its long sides to stiffen it) that I can stick under the 40/60 to support the ends. It allows me to access the panniers without having to remove the bag

Re: Lomo Bags
Funny you should mention that Al. I remember our talking about it last year. 'Lomo' usually means a loin joint of whatever, including fish like tuna, but as with all languages it's never as simple as that! I checked it out and the term crops up in a verb, deslomarse, which means to go the distance, put in he extra mile or break you back over somthing, etc. (thumbs)moto al wrote:Unfortunately they Dinae sell in Spain.? Due to LOMO in Spanish .i think is a leg of pork .???????
So maybe we'd better renew our conversation about Lomo products in Spain ...
