I had my TT Ortlieb Roll bag sent over 3/4 yrs ago form Wales I have used in on the bike in the bush which is very harsh from the sun & the dust & I have used it to travel on planes all over..

It has been fantastic !! No probs at all...

Reckon you get what you pay for !!!

Think all the roll top offers have been covered, loads available made from thick vinyl. I also have thin fabric roll top bags still 100% watertight (I use mine as a washing bag)
from Exped

or instead of a roll top bag I have a couple of sponsor bags from louis.de they cost just over a fiver and bloody good value for money

and their Speedbag 30lt for €10

i bought one of these 120ltr bags for a tent bag
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRY-SACK-120L-Cam ... 27b681d1aa

i already had a 90ltr ortleib bag that was twice the price of this so i wasnt expecting anything great, but they compare very well. in fact the cheap one has rings for strapping/bungying down built in

I use small Ortlieb PD350 bags for sleeping bags - bought from Traveldri plus - strapped to the top of panniers and a huge roll top bag for tent chairs and other stuff across the rack.

Kriega bags are indeed good bits of kit and ideal on top of panniers. I use them and they've never leaked even when subjected to a full day of torrential rain. I find I can get a pair of trainers plus everything for an overnight stop on a US20 so I can simply unclip it from the top of the pannier and leave the rest where it is. Particularly useful if you're on an overnight ferry.

While on a trip to the Touratech HQ in southern Germany I took hold of one of these http://www.touratech.com/shops/008/prod ... ts_id=4305

The price was 120 Euros’ and is placed on top of the Metal Mule Top Box, with the help of tie-wraps, looks good and is used and feels strong and capable :)
