mapcase solution?

what do the rest of you use for on the hoof mapreading- yes I use gps but do not venture far,on the trail or tar without a map for the big picture etc. currently using ortlieb case tied/hooked onto baglux tankcover on bmw and clipped to the bars on 640 but it aint ideal, what solutions have you found?

I use one of these, with 4 cable ties left attached to the bike. Not ideal, but works OK.

Bungie net over tank with butcher quality clear bag (map in it) simples :)

Go to the push bike shop they have cheap jobbies that velcro onto the handlebars or on a strap around your shoulders. And they are waterproof! (thumbs)

Sea to Summit.

Not the cheapest map case or a simple as a plastic bag, but tough, fully waterproof and larger sizes than some. Not disappointed with ours :)

I use Ortlieb cases when walking in the hills which are the Rolls Royce of map cases but I think these are better on the bike.
Never enough time and so much to see and experience.



Previously a VStrom 650, and a KTM SMR 950, currently XT600E with many mods. And now a F800GS Trophy since the KTM has gone.
