About 3 years ago or so I did Bulgaria and back on my WR250R via Italy and a ferry to Greece. Camped all the way. Last year I went down to the Dordogne on it--again camping all the way. I just keep off the payages and the like and enjoy the countryside. 250 miles or so a day and stop at 5 pm and look for a campsite. On the Bulgaria trip it did 4,5k miles and all I did was to change the oil in Bulgaria. I did have an IMS 3 gallon tank so it has a good range at 70 mpg. Much earlier I vanned it down to near Venice, ferry to Greece and then offroad through Albania etc with a multi national group (camping) and eventually up the coast past Trieste back to near Venice--on a Honda CRF 230. Again no bother , not fast, but perfect for the rough roads.
