Thanks for pointing that out. With no Yamaha and no Guzzi making an appearance two of the major reasons for me wanting to go have gone.Scott_rider wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 9:19 am I'm going on the Wednesday. We usually go each year, some years are better than others. Shame that Yamaha won't be there this year as they usually have a great stand.

Re: NEC Bikeshow 2021
Their press release said they were concentrating promotion of their 2022 range via their dealers and online channels. They are still going to the big EICMA show in Milan, I think.

I used to go when they held the flying show at the same time in another hall, doubt ill go again till all this shit is over, I expect it'll be full of unvaccinated facebook dwelling idiots not wearing masks cos they is ruffy tuffy bikers
Re: NEC Bikeshow 2021
Me too .......... I`d like to go, but with the potential for thousands of Covid spreading people milling around in close proximity. There are too many mitigating factors against me going to make it an enjoyable experience. Then you have the likelihood of a pre Christmas surge in case numbers being high, and the NEC`s requirements for providing Covid status, (covid pass & recent Lat Flow test result).

Re: NEC Bikeshow 2021
It's a case of making sure you do your best to protect everybody whilst enjoying an occasional burst of normality. Triple jabbed, monthly pcr test, monthly antibody blood test, weekly lateral flow test, maintain distance as best we can and where a mask so I'm happy to go.
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

Re: NEC Bikeshow 2021
I've never been to the show at the NEC, but as I'm now retired and can go along mid week without taking a days holiday I thought I'd give it a go.
I'm interested in seeing the Triumph Tiger 660, and there are a load of other specific stands I also want to visit.
Everything carries a risk at present, but given the entry requirements and the size of the NEC, it's as close to being outdoors as you can get. Plus I'll have a mask with me for when I'm wandering between stands.
