Post by Schoe000 »

Hi Guys,

Time for some new tyres, the bike is a BMW F650GS 800cc Twin R19 on the front R17 on the back, tarmac riding only with a pillion .
Looking for some new tyres what would you recommend and where to get them. I will fit them myself so looking to buy online.

Thanks Nick

pre brexit I have bought tyres from (Italy) https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/agcompany-ty ... 7675.l2559 for specific tyres I have had good price's and service, previous to that in recent years Openeo, Mytyres tyreleader also, these are all Euro with all that entails as far as I know so probably not so good now. Got a stock for a bit for the GS anyway.

TBH there are so many good tyres these days, it's difficult to say.
Conti Trail Attacks are specifically designed for road-going adventure bikes.

Metz Tourance - the original types, not the newer Next ones - for me.

Were great on my F650GS twin many years ago and I still use them on my F800GS today.
