Thank you my new best friend ! This is exactly what I was hoping to hear from an actual owner/rider. Much more welcome than "worst purchase you could make" (which of course I would have heeded had it been said ). Although I'm only mostly 65years old,my back could now be 80'ish!EWR wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 6:43 pmMy father has one (in the same mint green colour).soho wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 7:13 pm Can anyone tell me ANYthing about this bike drawing on personal experience ?
I'm not short of bikes by any means, but I'm drawn to getting one of these to keep solely for messing about shopping and plodding about town.
The one bike I can easily live without is my blade (knees & neck) and I'm thinking of replacing it with something like this. At
4 1/2 Grand it seems a perfect laugh................Or is it ??

I can attest it rides like any other Bullett which is to say it has an appealing old-fashioned, easy charm if you accept it for what it is. It's nicely finished and has been reliable - some find that the seat springs can be little harsh and he swapped those for something softer. Of course, it's no lightweight but it's easy to man-handle and it sits nice and low.
It is used primarily for pottering around local lanes which it excels it. He has whittled his extensive collection down to just this as his last bike (admittedly he's 80-plus) but it does everything he needs. It looks great in the flesh too.
Thanks.
