Well the KLX is finally in the garage as I’ve been away a mate of mine who’s a retired mechanic collected it for me and as it’s been stood most of its life (66reg only done 363mls) he checked it over everything ok except for needing new petrol he also had it MOTd for me, I’ve changed the oil & filter, fitted the PMR rack I bought in with the deal, but not the side racks, given it a quick clean, & it’s ready to go

Do the clutch lever switch mod to release all the power

I think I’ll leave it as it is for now I’ve read about the mod though can’t really understand what it does?

Allows bike to rev out in 5th and 6th

That would never bother me then.

I’ll see how it goes see if I take to the bike first seems to be plenty of interest in it if I don’t which I am prone to doing

Best looking of the 250 trail bikes on offer IMHO.

I do miss mine, apart from the terrible noisy end can someone had fitted. Of all the bikes I've ridden it was the best set up for my style of off road riding.
