That's a shame Steve, you've had that bike for a fair time. BTW, I should have been staying at your house Sunday just gone :(

Yes sad had to let her go, just to much of a barge for me off road nowadays, did 24000km, 4years, one huge africa trip, if I sell all the bits, bet I get what I paid for her. Amazing. X challenge so much lighter and more agile, only time will tell if we gel. That's correct, it was this week, Phil and I both mentioned it last weekend, going to have to reschedule that trip.

Yep had a feeling you might be a bit sore, mind you I voted your off the most spectacular of the day, just pipping mats "flip" twist and double salcko in the devil's arse crack

Everytime I go out I'm more impressed with this bike :)
Me too!

I went the long way to work, the long way home, then when my daughter asked if we could go for a ride after tea, I said YEAH!

Have any of you Tenere folk ever owned/had the Yamaha Tracer 700cc ...? I fancy a test-ride of one.

I had one I’m 2017 and did 10,000 miles on it. I really liked it. The engine, as the T7 owners will tell you, is a peach.

Wow, No way I could do that on my 115kg Beta, let alone a 200 kilo Tenere. I would have face-planted the second rock - or possibly the first!

There again I would have provided more comedy and entertainment for my fellow muckmunchers. It's so dull to be brilliant at everything...

A new to me Tenere XTZ750, collected it yesterday, loosely assembled it today, after freeing a stuck rear caliper, appears to be all there, now the work starts. It was last on the road in 2006, then stored, still had the tax disc on it. Wheels are rotten but a good set provided, thought that was a Honda problem.

Monday engine running once I had rigged up my small tank to bypass the pump(not checked it yet) Had a long battle to get the air filter to sit down on both carbs. Once all together a 1 sec press & it started. Now persuade the fuel tank taps to do their job, & change the rotten wheels & & &
