Has anybody fitted heated grips? Anyone gone for the genuine Yamaha offerings?

Just a heads up--and Bob knows about this--we are nearly there on a carbon/kevlar bashplate--just finessing the final fit--and using ferdie's T7 as a test--and he's been running this prototype for a while. We'll launch it on www.kodamacomposites.co.uk when we are ready--just making sure that it bolts on and fits to our satisfaction.

I found this on another forum, I’m sure some of you have already seen it but I thought that it’s worth sharing.
A pair of Motion Pro beadbreakers mounted where the pillion foot pegs go.

I'm still running mine around.
Had it 4 years.
Got some Becker boxes to mount to I soon.

I nearly bought one
Bought another Yam instead, a WR - F for an easier life on the trails

Picking my new red n white one on Saturday and will go straight on some trails, it has the full Adventure pack on , got a great deal , road a demo bike and i forgot how much fun a bike is with out messing around with settings etc, its a great long distance off roader with superb road abilities and the torque is more than i ever anticipated.
The yamaha heated grips are brilliant, used them many times on different bikes and look a factory fit.
Probably will get some Excel gold rims sorted in the next month or so which will really finish it off! Oh yeah:))

This was (Briefly) the future of the adventure bike bike market a few years ago.
It's good at what it does and it's reliable.......But For me, I'd sooner take a mobile library off road.
I'm glad Yamaha had a re-think.
But It's mine and a Tenere and I can post a picture on this thread!
