Any Maxi-Scooter riders (?)

A shout out to any Maxi-Scooter riders here, just wondering what you decided to buy make/model and size wise?
I quite fancy the Honda SilverWing 600 in the future. Photo's of your Maxi steed would be appreciated...!

Would love to hear your thoughts/feedback/experience regarding Maxi-Scooter's such as these;
Honda X-ADV's - Suzuki Burgman's - Yamaha T-Max's - BMW C650's - Honda SilverWing's - Gilera 800's - Aprillia SR850's along with any others I've missed out on.

I personally believe they are the future with the laid back "Twist n' Go" appeal/approach, luggage space and ease of use/ownership along with service intervals etc...

Had a Honda XADV and loved it. Torquey speedy good fun off road.
Not belt driven so feels more exciting to ride plus the high speed handling is brilliant being so low.
Around 200 miles per tank.
Would i have another? Hell yeh

Often admired the big T Max’s, thinking that’s the way to go when I’m too old to throw my leg over the Explorer. But what are scooters like for serious European touring, assuming I’m still up for those types of adventures in a few years time? Are they comfortable for long distances, capable of carrying much kit etc?

Not sure on the T max however the XADV was really good for me, took it from bristol to cornwall loads last year and easily sits well over the speed limit.
If ever i come out of the GS i will definitely get another one and put the X END kit on from Honda Palace in italy.

One of these glided up to me at a set of traffic lights the other day and I had a chance to chat to the owner. Looked very nice and with luggage to boot.
I thought it’d be a very comfortable long distance cruiser

I had a Piaggio (Gilera) 800, at the same time I had GS1200.
The Piaggio was a wee bit faster at the top end....a little bit more that 130mph (gps) I never got that out of my GS.
I rode it to Bulgaria and back.....brilliant, loads of storage and mega-comfortable.
It handled pretty well, once you've adjusted.
Shame I've not got a photo of it.

I've had a couple of BMW C650GTs and a Yamaha TMax.

The TMax lasted a few days before I persuaded the dealer to reverse the deal (at a cost to me). Didn't get on with it felt too stretched out on it. Ergonomically it just didn't work for me, I gather I am not alone here.

I loved the C650GTs both the current and previous versions. I was stupid to get rid of them. The luggage space is phenomenal, 55 litters under the seat and if you then put a 50 litre top box on it you have over a 100 litres of luggage space. I was able to tour and camp on them without any other luggage. I could fit tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, stove, seat and some odds and sods under the seat (see below) and clothes, food and other stuff in the top box. Handled far better than expected in the twists and would cruise on motorways at 80 all day. No gears great acceleration, I think I'm talking myself into getting another.

Had similar thought's and most of the maxi scooters aren't step through like their smaller versions, eg Vespa's, so getting onto them can be a bit convoluted.
