Re: KTM 390 adventure
I agree--plastic fantastic as I said--also price will be key--looks as though its got some complex ABS amongst other other things--if its more than 6.5 k then I think its treading into T7 territory and falling in the middle of things. The 310 GS has not been popular here, but elsewhere in the world, including the US, it seems to be selling well--and the price is right at not much over 5k here.

Re: KTM 390 adventure
Cast wheels are a shame, hoping for an R version or at least a spoked 21/18 option.
Spec certainly looks higher than the G310GS (which also has cast wheels). Compared to that the seat height slightly higher, tank slightly bigger, and claimed dry weight slightly lower, amongst other things

Re: KTM 390 adventure
I also had the news pop up about this bike today and like many whilst I have a passing interest in it the cast wheel are a absolute deal breaker.
I was "potentially" in the market for one of these to keep abroad out in Asia, esp as the domestic market vehicles are fairly feeble with their offerings but in this current guise not a chance .
If it was between the KTM and a CRF250L, the Honda wins Hands down.
Hopefully they have one at the NEC to have a look at and I will pester the sales reps ref spoke wheels and the future potential of a R model...
FWIW That Husqvarna is lovely!!!!!
