Tracing an old bike

I’m am trying to trace an old bike I use to own but I have no idea if it is possible. The only think I have in my possession is tens years of old Mot certificates.
I’ve traced it on line and it’s last Mot was 2006.
Anybody got any clue as to how I find the current owner if it still has one.

It probably depends what it is and how old it is. I think you can see online when it was last sorned or taxed. If it is old enough it will not need an MOT anymore. Try owners forums if there is one for your old bike.
Most of my old bikes I was glad to be rid off and those I wish I had kept I don’t think I would ever be able to afford to buy back now.

You could do worse than ask us lot on here.
What make model and reg number.

About 5 years ago I asked the question on here and found my old bike within half an hour.
I had to go and buy it after about 18 years apart, of course.

MoT check below show last Mot'd in June 2007 - a very long time for nothing to be heard of.

It's currently on SORN, so you could imply from that that someone still has it and might even be "restoring" it or at least meaning to. This link can help to find that information.
