Or a used one for less than £3k. Ive done 1300 miles in 3 months on mine whilst my two 1200cc bikes have not turned a wheel.

Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

Agreed that some are, essentially for the fashion-conscious and all bells & whistles must-haves. No problem with that if it's what rings your bell. But you can get many good, honest, new motorbikes for reasonable money such as MT07's/09's not to mention RE650. It's a bit crazy....a 750 was once a big, big bike but now seems to be seen as a tiddler ☺

Thought 13k for the standard Africa twin was a bit steep considering I got my BMW f850gs sport which as tubeless rims, esa, tft, led lights, self cancelling indicators, cruise control plus 3 years warrantee ect for just a little over 11k.

Nope, sorry wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, but as Im rejecting a 2018 ATAS at the moment because, its a death trap and rusting maybe im biased.
