I spoke to BSD in Peterborough , they specialise in remapping motorcycles , but the CRFL has an ECU that cannot be altered.

I feel for your woe but always a way to trick the ecu... Normal way is oxygen sensor bypass then trick the ecu to thinkingair temp is cold so riches up fueling...

Lots of xt660 models have been cured this way.... Itz all down to emmision restrictions..

The full power kit came from Australia and consists of an ECU and a unrestricted air intake for the Throttle body costing £211 incl shipping and customs, these are the parts that came off you can see the air intake is restricted by 80 per cent , Im not too worried about the extra power its the clean fueling Im after will try out tomorrow.

Wow, now that's a restriction! Could have had a C90 carb on there and it would have been bigger :D

Price isn't bad if it's the ECU and the rubber, I was asked for nearly £200 20+ years ago at a Honda dealer for an ignition unit.

So first ride today with the full power kit fitted, engine pulls much more strongly from the off 12mph on the top speed able to lift the front wheel much more easily , deep sand much easier , as far as the low speed fueling 40 per cent better the engine revs still have a bit of a mind of their own when on steady or negative throttle , still stalls a little bit too easily but overall pleased especially with the bargain price of the ECU and throttle body rubber £211 incl postage and tax from Australia , as satisfied as I was with the power as was its nice to have a surfeit of power.
