790 Adv at Fowlers

Post by Monster »

Hello

I stopped in to Fowler's in Bristol recently and was pleasantly surprised at the size and scale of the place

The staff were pretty friendly as well - I didn't buy anything but I did get lots of info for a potential purchase ahead

I was surprised to see a 790 Adv (albeit not a 790R) in the shop .... as I was told they wont be out for a while

Can't say I was all that taken and doubt I will be giving up my 990 anytime soon - they did have something much more interesting however !!

Not that many 990 SMR beasts about these days

Eyup Joel. Not my bag these but my local dealer reckons he's taken more deposits for 790's than he'll be able to get hold of! Demo bike imminent

Hey Scoobs

I am sure they will be popular - especially the R version

I am interested in a demo for sure but they are a lot of money

Still love my 990 !!

Would love to add 990 SMR in I was starting a collection

I'm not about to trade in my 990 at the present price of the 790. If they come down by Β£1500 then I might consider it :)

It's an Austrian built bike - Chinese production is rumoured to start around 2020. Still a lot of money though.

May be they are charging a premium price this year then...the first and last of the Austrian production?

To an extent it's what Triumph do...build the first year of the new model in the UK so they can be debugged if production issues arise, then outplace production to the Far East.

Is it true that the fuel tank is right down the bottom? Seems a bit risky.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.
