An interesting one this, a Honda CRF150 motorcross bike and the fault: "Keeps seizing".
Well! I couldn't even turn the engine over, but it wasn't the normal metal on metal metal feel but more like the piston was pushing against a big pool of liquid, like, um, I know - engine oil!
Ah that would be it then as I drained out a drastically over-filled engine.
But through the grapevine a new story emerged. Another customer tells us that the owner had drained all the oil out, then his son, the rider, had, ridden it, without re-filling with new oil and wondered why it kept locking up!
OK so head and cylinder and both side covers off to see what's what, no pictures as there was no damage amazingly. Well, the camshaft was toast and had to be replaced.
I wasn't allowed any more time on it so nothing else was replaced even for precautionary reasons. The longer term effects though, who knows...
