Be wary of an Ohlins shock, I fitted one and it was too tall and upset the geometry

Wilbers or Hyperpro is a better alternative.................however the airshock works well (just not at low speeds - the faster you go the better it works)

Cheers for the advice Johnny, defo won't be ohlins, far to expensive, either wilburs, or hyperpro me thinks. Do you have any bits left from your x, looking for tank, pannier rails, etc, normal overland stuff ? Will put a wanted list up soon :D

I bought an X Ch last year last minute & took it to Morocco with WIBO on the EDC
Great light bike but the subframe did break 28 klm into the desert , But it did handle well & do all I asked of it, Although it did feel quite weedy compared to my 690 I like it enough to put my rally 690 for sale as it’s so much more bike than I could ever use
