OK, this should be your strategy:

Start talking at length about how powerful the human subconscious is, how it can imagine things to the extent that they look and feel real. Then blame any medication she is taking (for anything) and persuade her that the bike in the dining room is no more than a very persuasive optical illusion. Occasionally take it outside but keep talking about it as if it might be there. Spread doubt about its existence until your partner can no longer tell truth from fiction.

This tactic is working well for Donald Trump right now, so surely it's worth a try...

What bikes? All I see is a washer/dryer and a wall that needs rendering.

The stickers all over the fridge are a bit debatable, I suppose, but luckily there are no bikes in the way of them...

Opps show it some real mud then go take it and show folks its wild side... You after a discount on blingy bits and bet them tyrws are a bastatd to change.... My bike is awaiting delivery of some suitable knobbly tyres...
