What do you want to do with the bike? Are you interested in off roading up goat tracks or riding gravel trails or road trips? Will you carry camping gear and go long distance? Will you spend lots of time on fast roads? Each of these questions might help you get the bike you need, also are you tall?
Cheers

In that case a WR125 or a XR125l if you want it more off road orientated also a DR125 also but its so rare to find a good one. If you want a bit more road comfort the Honda Varadero 125 or the Derbi Terra adventure are very well respected.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

I was going to say that the XR125l would be better for loading up but here’s a vid I found of a loaded wr125 with full camping gear and two up touring around Europe!!! Bloody good stuff

Honda PCX125 (sports tourer)

I've been pretty impressed with the wr125x motor, we have one in the rieju 125 chassis and it's been bulletproof. Anything using that motor - rieju/wr/fantic etc is worth a look. water cooled but very simple - plus 80-90mpg. The real beauty is that all the filters/plugs etc are yamaha bits - just makes life that little bit easier than looking for chinese bits.
Had a derbi terra for a bit and found that pretty good, size was great for someone over 6ft. The rieju/fantic quality is a noticeable step above the derbi though.
