We made it. My 800GS has cracked the 100,000 mile mark.
Ironically near a town called Dover here on Tasmania.
I know that I listed some of this stuff before but:-
I bought in new in August 2009
I’ve ridden it it 45 different countries.
Its broken down in 3 of those and had punctured in 2.
It pulled a sidecar for 34,000 if it’s miles, with a passenger and luggage.
There you go, here’s to the next ??? Miles.
Country number 46 should be early next year all being well.

Re: 100,000 miles
Wow. I've never seen a bike odo pass the 100k mark.
Well done for hanging on to it and doing all the servicing / maintenance required to keep it going so long, instead of just trading up every few years.

Re: 100,000 miles
First time for me too. My previous best was 81,500 on a R1150GS Adventure bought new in ‘03 and sold when I bought the 800.
Cheers for the thumbs up re maintaining it, not with my own hands you understand.
Apparently when I hold tools I resemble a Cow in Hancuffs!!
I don’t reckon I’m quite that bad but you get the gist.
