Re: Who's putting £500 down
It is a very pretty bike if you like that sort of thing. I would imagine it would appeal to richer buyers of the CCM Spitfire range and like them the majority will never be seen on the road, they will just sit in private collections. This is of course, great for the manufacturers who don't have to worry about making their bikes practical and won't get many warranty issues. Personally I would rather have an original N11 or P15. But then I am just a boring old Luddite who actually wants to ride the bikes he owns and be able to service them myself.

I wanted to look like it......but I don’t.
Maybe it’ll be better in the flesh, and with a rear light as mentioned.
I wish them every success with it though and at that price point it’s well set against its competitors.

'm not really a fan of the larger "modern" Nortons either, but I did pull up alongside one earlier today and, apart from the motor being a sort of oversize, 120% scale model of the old 750 Atlas engine, it didn't look too bad. And, unlike a lot of these very expensive, limited-production machines, it was actually being used, on a dampish day, on the M4.

wot a shame .. (the looks) ..
Norton were always known for their simplicity of design and classic good looks
.. not a design by a committee of frankenmods
