My experience with motobatt is that they have poor quality control I've had one good one and 2 bad ones.
Not a very scientific finding, but I've yet to have a bad Yuasa and Iv'e had a couple dozen of em on various vehicles

New front fender extender is working well keeping the mess off the engine.
I’ve also designed a seat apron which has specific Velcro slots for the panniers thereby keeping them from rubbing on the seat. Also holds the straps in place. Just lift the whole lot of the bike when you go in somewhere or leave the seat apron on to stop it getting wet.
Rear stays keep the panniers off the rear lights too.
Good set up for touring me thinks

I went ahead today and ordered a new/sealed Yuasa battery for the Honda Innova Scooter, looking forward to it arriving.
About to remove the exhaust for a proper clean up, a little pitted here and there with lack of use, I've let it soak in WD-40 for a few days which helps.

I'm currently lusting after a Suzuki 400/650 Burgman big scooter as a second bike.
I rode my V-Strom DL1000 a lovely 100 mile ride today and thought I could do that easily on a big scooter instead.
Maybe consider DL 650 or DL 250 ?
Instead of a scooter ?

Ordered a new/original 'Yuasa' battery for the Innova Scooter, should be arriving before Friday.
By the way, I understand the Honda Innova takes 10w 40 engine oil, but any make/type in particular would anyone recommend/suggest please??

It’ll probably run on cooking oil
To be fair anything decent is good as it’s under a litre for an oil change if I remember correctly so cost wouldn’t be much different

Would the likes of the cheap 10w/40 engine oil from Tesco's do the trick Godspeed ?
