Royal Enfield Himalayan...........surprisingly good :D
I’m not trying to be weird but it’s anazing how manufacturers have produced such large cc bikes that we think a 400 is something small :)
I’m not sure that’s in the small bike class, reckon under 250cc is probably about right
Godspeed your bang on 👍....
Below 250cc is small catagorie 🤗🤗

Thanks but it has very limited operational capability :D

Actually took it out for an hour on Sunday in the hissing rain and it was a right laugh but I'm not going to be one of those people doing round the world (or even more than 10 mile radius from my place) trips on the thing
You don't need big CC or big distances to have an adventure

I just did 1132 miles back and forth to Germany on my C90 in October. It wasn’t quick but man, I pretty much saw everything as I went along 👍

Fair play although I don't quite think I'm ready yet for that type of distance on a very small bike and when I am it won't be the V50. I have a V80 in my lock-up waiting for me to get round to sorting and that would be a (slightly) better option given it has a bit more poke and 12v electrics complete with cdi rather than points. Maybe one day I'll leave the coutnry on that :D

I tend to use my Africa Twin (DCT so a bit like your C90!) for longer trips but did do a 1400 mile, 6 day round trip on my Guzzi V7 earlier in the year with my lad on his MT03 660 and NW Scotalnd on my Enfield (although vanned up) lastyear. Not exactly small bikes but a way off what many see as necessary for an 'adventure bike' these days.

For the past couple of years I’ve flown over to Malaga and rented a ybr125 and then ridden up into the mountains. V. Cheap to do and great fun!!

Also done a couple of thousand miles on my XR125L. A lovely little bike that gives 100mpg, and confident enough to still take off road

In October I rode 1132 miles from Bristol to Koblenz in Germany on my fully loaded C90.

Toying with the idea of getting my 125 shipped to Bulgaria and then riding back from there... would love to get to Kiev too... and also up to the Arctic circle.

:)

Cheated a bit, took the bikes up in the van (as we're on the South coast and only had a week so didn't want to spend all of that riding up and back) but we had a great time in Scotland last April, my lad on his CBF125 and me on my Enfield 500 efi. Not a huge difference in outright performance, the Ennie better up the hills and in strong winds, the CBF a bit more comfy and even better on fuel than the Ennie 101mpg v 89. Just under 900 miles in five days, very little traffic, hardly saw another bike, weather was pretty good and zero midges

I saw this today at On Yer Bike, Aylesbury. It looks very smart 8-) . A Versys 300 with an Enduro 'kit'.
