Booking.com, ended up in a pub in Whittlesey. It wasn’t the best I’ve stayed in but it was cheap-ish.
I’ve found AirBnB is getting more expensive than hotels these days. Crazy!

The Innova is pretty accurate on its fuel gauge but with just a bit over 100 miles to the 3.5 litre tank I need to be able to assess where I can eek out to the furthest petrol station, so decided to etch the miles on to the plastic so it’s easier to see.

I did the Stelvio pass today. I stopped together with two riders from NL. Both on a classic vespa each.
They had no problem to outrun 1250 "Adventure bikes" on the hairpin roads. And they had fun instead of beeing worried.

That is the way to go.
(For me a 250 to 400 would have been best. Like Yamaha XT 250 or Honda NX 400. Or why not a Honda Cargo. But I can not get that i Europe)

I will publishe picture later, of the 2 Vespas. With rain protection.

The Stelvio pass is awesome on a small bike, going down there is no difference in speed, going up I was in first gear most of the way. A 250 May have been easier :)

Impressing Chris.
You really do what you talk about.
It seems as if you have been "everywhere" with your Innova.

Here are the pictures of the scooters doing Stelvio, as I mentioned.
NL-plates.

The rain was starting. I was on the way down. They on the way up.
One driver had a normal rain suit,
The other one had a "bulit in" rain protection for the legs on hid bike.
And only put on a jacket.

They said that Stelvio had the name and is famous.
But that there is a "better" pass. If you turn left, when going towards Selvio.
And head for Switzerland.
(I do not know how they define "better")
But since I was on the way down, and the rain was starting.
I did not turn around and tried that pass.
