Re: Go Big and Ride Small
It’s the perfect bike for solo off-road, looks like she’s gonna have fun

Sure.
With that bike, combined with that attitude.
It will be great.

Ed March has proven what you can do with a C90
And Nathan with his CT 110 Postie bike
Only two of many....

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
A lovely video from Nathan, some fantastic trails, and even showing that the Himalayan and Crf300 are still not a match for a C90.
Basically there’s nothing like something lighter weight for off road….

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
This looks interesting, the Rieju aventura 125.
14 litre tank, looks mild off road capable, 780 seat height…. Does anyone have experience of the Rieju brand at all?

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I have a couple of mates who ride the enduro models, mostly Yamaha parts. They like them mainly due to the low initial cost but like all these smaller manufacturers, the back up is fairly limited compared to the bigger ones.
The Tango model is well established and makes a nice light weight trail bike if combined with the big bore 150 kit.

Currently tootling down through France and in the Pyrenees at the moment. Heading to Bardenas and then Picos for a few days.
Just worked out that by the end of this trip I’ll have done over 10,000 miles on the continent in under 3 years…. All on 125ccs

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Very nice luggage set up you have on that bike.
It is hard to find luggage racks for small bikes.
And I no longer have a garage and workshop to make one myself.
(But I have a 250 cc and a 350 cc as candidates as touring bikes. That I can get with luggage racks
Smaller than most bike out there, but not 125 cc.)
Enjoy your trip.
Very nice balcony road/picture

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Thanks, yeh the luggage rack on the side are Givi wingracks with homemade brackets to support and on the back is a zen overland plate adapted to take a Givi box.
To be fair I’ve got a bit too much for the poor bike this time and it’s certainly losing power heading up the mountain passes
