What's it actually like to ride, Bill, with those small wheels?

I've ridden several small-wheeled scooters on road but never on dirt.

What is grip like with those tyres? Ground clearance etc.? And in the wet?

Cheers, Dave

It's great fun, you just need to avoid the deep ruts but I have the crf 230 for the harder trail riding.
Just stick to the gentler stuff, the road grip is surprising on them as well. It's very light and will do 60 on the flat   I have a ride report I will try to post

I really do need to get my V80 sorted and transfer the 'off road pack' to it from the Orange Panther. The 50 is okay but struggles to haul my fat a*re and kit up anything too steep, even with it's rebored and slightly tweaked motor and it's a bit too slow on the road. Hopefully the 80 will be able to hold 40+ and cope with a few steeper off road sections.
The fifty is still a hoot though, especially in when I can't be bothered/haven't got time to get out for very long, half hour around the back lanes always makes me come back with a smile ;)
