Thats the plan Toni , i'd like a TW but any 125/250 would do so we can bimble along at the same speed

I still can't get over the condition of that bike, you'd really struggle to find one in that nick over here.PHILinFRANCE wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 7:25 am I FELL.......................AGAIN

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Lovely little bike Phil, when you get you head in trail bike mode rather than Enduro you've just as much fun bimbling along and see more of the surroundings . There also a real satisfaction when you achieve a climb or obstacle. The main reason for me going to the Honda crf 230 was bad hips but I have enjoyed it so much and never missed an enduro bike. The 80mpg and cheap maintenance is a bonus The TW seem to be popular in USA

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I also went big and rode small once. Only just found the old photos. Back in about 2002 I bought this lovely little Mito, derestricted it to release all of its 23bhp and it sat next to the Bimotas and race bikes in my workshop. It was brilliant fun to ride on a summer sunday, ringing its little neck along the old A40. So light and ultra-flickable. When a red Mito comes towards you it looks pretty much identical to a 916, until it passes by with a ring-ding-ding rather than a V-twin Ducati rumble.

And not so great on those Avon/Somerset dirt tracks either. They did do something called a 'Planet' which might be OK with knobblies on I suppose.
