You make a convincing case for the 125. but with such a the small price difference between the 125 & 300, ( £350.) think the 300 would still tempt me if I buy a new one. But the comfort, weather protection, running costs, storage make either a great package.
Glad your lovin' it :D

Comfortable, economical (still getting 120mpg), able to get a weeks worth of clothes under the seat, and cruises at 60mph. What more can you ask for?

A weeks worth of clothes you say? A pair of keks, a pair of socks and a “shower in a can” don’t take up that much space surely

Quite agree, the price difference is minimal but The 125 has that added range over the 300, and it’s another 20kg lighter again... though there’s talk of the new 125 next year, and a 350, and the 750 Forza. There’s even talk of a 300 ADV (I’d be interested if they brought the 150ADV over here!)

here you go--a 750 scoot? https://uk.yahoo.com/news/honda-enhance ... 31343.html
--could be good--but reminds me of the PC800 pacific coast which I had in the US--completely enclosed with no visible external fasteners--engine encased in a steel sheet "lattice" and insulated in ducting--hot air exiting in front of the rear wheel--rad air came out the sides--a complete lift up rear seat and "trunk"--a big bag of shopping dropped in each. A radio in the trunk tuned from the handlebar. A lovely 800 twin with twin plugs--you couldn't even see the forks or disks, or silencer!--and it would top an indicated 100 mph if allowed to wind up. Handling was "interesting" but not bad--it could be hustled along. Fuel tank was under the seat, the seat height was low--shaft drive of course--designed to be low maintenance-you even had to pull off a small panel to find the dipstick, but it was really no bother---and all this from 1989!

Mine was this colour--designed for the California car owners and in the same paint as Honda cars--I sometimes think of getting another one--there are one or two that have crept into this country--basically too radical for its time when you think of the tractors like Hardly Ablesons--the yanks couldn't cope!!!--although about 14k were sold there--mine was secondhand but mint and had never seen the rain. It rained when I picked it up--I'm sure that the guy cried!

Just saw an advert for this:
A Herald Mirage 125 with a 14l tank
Looks like it could be a good bike for travel and adventure.... love it that it has a kickstart and apparently you can get luggage to fit too

Don't get too excited it's simply the current Integra rebadged to Forza branding.

Probably better off then with the standard NC750X motorcycle.

Back on track with the small bike theme 😂
Carried on my journey with another 235 miles up to Fort William.
I met a friend at the green welly and rode the last hour with him. The weather was amazing: bright, crisp and clear. What a day for it!

I don't believe that Godspeed can actually walk.

I think he just leaps about everywhere like a loon. Which is rather splendid really.
