Perfect! I took a 5 litre one when I rode to Germany a couple of years ago on my C90 as I was so bored of having to find a petrol station every 50 miles or so. Incidentally I did a big ride today of 160 miles and found that taking it steady I was getting almost 120 miles to the Innova 3.7 litre tank which is pretty good.Slowboy wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:01 pm Forgot this earlier. The Super Cub now has a "Range Extender" fitted. I looked at Rotapax, very nice But dimensionally the wrong shape. I looked at the Chinese "copies" which were the right size, but I had concerns about the plastic mount's longevity, so I made my own brackets and did this. Not even the smell of petrol leaks out into the top box and it adds about 130 to 180 miles to the 90 to 110 in the tank. Result.

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Bought a screen for Xena and long story short the fittings that came with it were crap so bought some stainless steel rubbered P clips, they arrived the other day and i fitted the screen yesterday, took it for a test ride today to see how well it performed and also to see how good the suction mount on my old sat nav would hold out, pleased to say all a great success
Ended up at The Trent Port Hotel in Gainsborough giving it all a good proper testing

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I’ve just returned from a three day adventure up to the Peak District. I know it wasn’t strictly ‘right’ but with some of the stuff I’ve seen and done recently at work it was a good opportunity to clear the head. Suffice to say I just found a bit of forest and hid in it... anyway I took my Innova up on Thursday, fully loaded, and then Friday did a couple of lanes near Chatsworth estate, some roads and villages, then rode back today.Billy Bananahead wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 7:36 pmThat's a great find Tink.Tink wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 7:26 pm Very interesting read!!!!

375 miles, 158mpg, handled the lanes much to the surprise of the two off-Road bikers that came up stony lane, and hauled all my luggage in comfort and ease.
It’s similar to the bike above and very underrated... mind you no one took any notice of it in Matlock Bath
