That's a minter Tink, is it a CRF250? It's a beauty, have you owned it long? I'd love one of those.....

Here's a couple of pics sent by a mate who is on holiday in the far east which shows just how versatile and capable these little bikes are

For the attention of Godspeed;
I've now paid for the 2005 Honda 125 Innova scooter which I was offered last month by a biker friend, so hoping it should arrive with me within the next five days or so, a friend is arranging collection and delivery to me etc...
I'll update with a few photos once it appears at mine. Ye Ha

Brilliant Peter!
Can’t wait to see some of your adventures on it!
I’ve been preparing my Innova for my big trip in only 4 months time, I stripped both wheels off and replaced the tape, tubes and tyres, and also the rear brake shoes.
Maybe just needs an oil change and a new spark plug and I’m ready to roll

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
wOw - that's a mighty long trip your going on Godspeed, respect to you..!! Will your Honda Innova stick that pace over the long distance/journey etc?
A few Innova questions for you Godspeed as you've a lot more experience/knowledge than myself;
Which engine oil is best used for the Innova?
Which spark plug would you suggest?
Any benefits of using the slightly more expensive Super unleaded petrol compared to standard when fuelling up?
Cheers!

Peter

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Reckon any bike would get to Romania and back, the only limitation would be time.
I’ve got a couple of weeks to get there, then helping out at an orphanage for a week, then a week over the alps to meet some mates for another week, staying near Chamonix and then a week home.
Very much intending to smell the flowers as I go along rather than race into the sunset
As regards to Innova, yep I always use super unleaded as it makes very little difference on a 3.5 litre tank. Under the seat is a small well, not large enough for a helmet but perfect for a 2 litre fuel bottle, which increases the range somewhat.
In terms of range it looks about 100 miles to the 3.5 litre tank.
Thing to sort will be seat (very uncomfy for long rides). But other than that...
Technical stuff: get on the C90 forum as loads of stuff about the Innovas on there

Hope that helps

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I’d recommend these tyres for the Innova too.
Michelin City Pro. £27 per tyre. Lovely and sticky even today on the wet roads. I imagine it will compromise longevity but for 27 squid you can’t complain
