Post by SHarper »

Eyup people. I’ve been asked by a friend to run him to look at and possibly purchase a Transalp on Friday, it’s this one:-

Is there anything model specific I ought to be looking for and is it worth £2650?

Check.....
Carb choke plungers arnt stuck, the brakes dont bind, the swing arm bearings arwnt shaged, the rear spindle moves when loosened.

The output shaft by front sprocket is fine.. Only use honda genuine front sprockets, the wheels arent corroded on inside.... It strarts with choke and rides like a silk purse..... As for price your call but they hold on well... Mine did 55,000 mls fine.

Check the antifreeze has been changed too

Its been up for sale a few times so worth a barging 2000 quid offer lol
