Could just be the stamping thats out. just seems to be a few millimeters above on the exhaust side and few millimeteres in the casing on the intake side cant tell as much in the picture but when i leave them right it puts the marking 10mm off tdc . It runs fine though and kicks second kick wen not used for a day or 2 just needs the one valve shim changing anyway. i did read today though after searching through many forums on wr450f that the exhasut valves can be retarded 1 tooth or it may have been the other way around. This then gives more bottom end and mid power but loses a little of the top end so wondering if its that still seems to be 14 pins on the chain thou and others say it sholud be 13 with the exhaust 1 tooth

Make sure you get a left bar rear brake to complete the set-up.
You'll lose some engine braking with the Rekluse clutch so some delicate rear brake work will be required....plus having accurate rear brake control with your left hand is really, really handy anyway.
For me the only downside with a Rekluse is not being able to bump-start....so also having a kick-starter is handy.
It's a yes from me.

Thanks Steve , it's on the list ,and the rear brake sounds interesting , the bike has a kicker aswell so no worries about bump starting , I have a new rear wheel coming from Talon with Cush drive hub so might as well go the whole hog and got all the bits.SteveW wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 3:58 pmI liked it.....I had one one my 450exc and I've still got one on my DRZ 400.diggermanbob wrote: ↑Wed Oct 03, 2018 7:44 amHow do you rate the clutch Steve ?SteveW wrote: ↑Wed Oct 03, 2018 3:55 amNot quite everyone you know Phil.PHILinFRANCE wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:07 pm Smashing Bob .................but everyone i know who fitted a Rekluse has gone back to a mans clutch !!!! but what do i know

Yup found it. It is a rather nice lever , reservoir and line. I am in Gloucester next weekend so can meet or get it to Jane's via Sophie as usual.
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.
