Ive have had a pair of Talons with Excel rims on my CCM for years and they have never failed and remain true despite some pretty tough laning. Worth every penny

They quoted me a differnet price did notice they have a few different sets though . Will have to wait for now

My back was killing me standing while riding so went and bought new high bars and risers new chain sprockets and all the bits needed for the fcr carb rebuild and few missing bolts that set me back just over 300

After spend the day around chirk last week dont know if i really need one the knobbies seem to do a good job suppose ill not notcie it though it will be more the shaft that feels it

Defeintly better now though with the new bits

So much higher the bars wasnt sure they would go on without changing anything out but straight fit no pull in cables or stretched bits dont think i could go any further though

I don't think the Cush drive makes any difference on local lanes but if I'm taking it on a long haul , loads of TET, I think it will help the transmission on the road sections , Talon made my wheel to order as its not a stock item , still working on mine fitting a rally dash plus a few other bits and bobs , will post some pics up soon.

Which rally dash you using . alot say the rebelx is the best one for the wr450f but for the price i didnt think theres alot with it .

Did have an email of mst about theres but iam sceptical about it was thinking about using there mounting system to mount the rally kit in the corner as i have the lights and everything just no mounting kit

This is the setup they sent me and the email

Good morning Mike, I'm Gianluca marketing manager of MST.

Attached mounting instruction about our kit. The installation is identical on all types of motorcycles

in relation to our coupling components (see image attached), I confirm that they have a longer life than normal bearings.
Since 2010 we have only supplied semi-bearing to customers who have had accidents with the motorbike. Fortunately only three.
The price of individual components is as follows
Semi-upper bearing: € 150.00
Bottom bearing seeds: € 150.00
Reserved discount 10%
With free shipping

The thing that puts me off is the bearing race. I thought the cup and bearing are suppose to bed togehter and always replace them at the same time so they wear together and bed in toegther but with the price he sent in the email its like i will have to spend 300 everytime i want to change the head stock bearings . Ok they dont need change weekly or monthly but they will need changing at some point and its a bit if a steep price for a bearing change . The system looks ok but think the top and bottom peices could do with being abit cheaper but theres no budge on price from them .

Does anyone know if a 07 model has a solid one piece sub frame that could take some luggage ? Or do they need bracing up, etc.
