Comfort......The most important thing on an Adventure Bike?

My comfy bike choice is an Airhawk seat cover....it works with any uncomfy bike seat for me. Fortunately the re-sculpted & re-covered seat on my old Africa Twin is all-day comfy in its own right.

Problem isn't with the bikes it is with you. Or in particular your buttocks.
As you have got older you do less and less exercise so lose muscle
Try doing some exercise to firm up and see if that helps before spending money

+1 for varadero seat which I feel is far better than my Transalp 650 seat although the vara is a big lump compared to the TA, Its back to the TA, taxed today & SORN'd the vara yesterday.

Not an adv bike but my old VFR was by far the most ergonomic bike I ever owned. All day in the saddle no problem.
Still getting used to the more upright position on my baby beemer. Feeling it in my backside although I find the OE saddle more comfy than my aftermarket “comfort”saddle weirdly. But feeling it more in my back. After just a couple of hours am getting lower back pain and having to stretch and rest for a while before I can continue. Something to do with sitting upright?Handlebar position?

Interesting the difference between ergonomics and all day comfort. My DR350 felt like it had been tailored for me but the seat was rubbish so I got a Seat Concepts to sort it out. My CRF Rally doesn't fit quite as well but the wind protection and the seat make up for it.

I find on the Rally the small fuel tank makes it more comfy as you have to stop to fill it up on long treks. I've also started doing stretches when I stop to help me [s]look stupid[/s] avoid aches, it makes a big difference.
