Honda AT

Minor spill results in enough damage to end the ride, may be worth making a cover if you own one, not good if you were on an adventure.

If he had a modicum of throttle control and less ego he would have more chance of not smashing a borrowed bike up, that's why I don't like electronic gimmickery, people get to rely on it.

When it comes to twin cylinder large road bikes there is no such thing as a minor spill unless your very lucks as the mere weight of the bike smashing itself into the ground is going to cause damage, add in some momentum and voilla an expensive recipie.

As you say all big bikes need some sort of protection to prevent damage, but therin adds another layer of weight to the package.

Also he was travelling pretty quick on those gravel roads, on road biased tyres, recipe for disaster that!

Watching this video the main issue was the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat.

My point was the oil filter housing seems very vulnerable.
Any owner could drop one at some point no matter your skill level.

I think that was an excellent review. It perfectly demonstrates the biggest
disadvantage these type of bikes have for a lone traveller stuck in the middle
of nowhere
