That just HAS to be wrong.

If it only makes 25bhp it should need a service each decade and a strip down per millenium. If that figure is true, Honda has just buggered it up yet again....

To be fair it actually only says oil filter change every 1000km, doesn't mention actual oil change intervals. I would think the air filter oil change could be extended if the riding wasn't all on dirt/dusty conditions too.
it will go 32,000km between major strip downs, with an air filter oil and oil filter change every 1000km.

The power output might be due to hugely restrictive inlet noise control, in which case I'd imagine it could be freed up a bit. Either way a 450 making the same peak power as a 250 is always going to have a far bigger spread of power.
Also there is a lot of rubbish spouted about power, most enduro bikes don't put out anything like the power a lot of people imagine.
It'll be interesting to see the price in the UK.

The spec of this new Honda makes my CCM GP450, XR250r and DRZ400e look fantastic.
Is it part of Honda's long term plan to to make petrol engined motorbikes so boring we won't miss them when we all go electric :D
