Thanks Bob , I lost count of the times I bolted and unbolted the racks , heating bending brazing but chuffed with the result , I do like to re use old stuff if I can , every bolt that I have undone on the bike has been refitted with copper slip so no seized bolts in future ,

I'm glad its not just me that does that with the reusing and copper slip, the pannier rack on my dommie is from my old cbf500 and a friend of mine with a sports bike was amazed when I helped her sort her brakes out and explained that although my bikes are normally dirty there isn't a seized bolt on any of them because I'm thorough and I wouldn't have the problems she was having getting the top off the bloody reservoir :D
