Right, Next on the List PUIG Screen (could do with a bit of wind blast deflection for the tarmac bits)

Same shit different day, no UK supplier and M&P quoting me "a month or two", well 6 @X*& that for a game of soldiers
So back to the usual question - anyone got one quickly-ish from somewhere here in the land that time forgot?

I made my own from a bmw screen never got to mount it but it fitted and looked good.

Thinking I could revert back and loose the Rade garage screen.

Is there a simple way of telling if a 701 registered in 2017 has the newer engine with the additional balancer shaft. There is 17 registered bike on Ebay that I'm interested in and the seller doesnt know

The cam cover looks like it's a twin cam, the cam is at the back and the balance shaft is at the front, I also think they have the white rad covers, also no power switch under the seat.

1 year 2 months old 6327 miles and the clutch is failing and now slipping in 5 & 6 gear when pulling hard...

I must have had a dodgey 701 with all of my issues

I've only read this last post. My mates lad just bought a mint 2018 701 from a Gear 4 last week and his clutch master cylinder gave out after just 30 miles. I'm gutted for him. He's a really experienced motocrosser but this was his first ever road bike.
His been told it's a common problem , I say why the **** does bike like this need a hydraulic clutch ?

Tell your mate that this is another issue. My slave has already failed in mid france and has been replaced. This is the clutch springs tension failing apparently another common problem a cheap fix at 16 quid from EBC but just so frustrating

Update on the noisy cam chain, found out the 2019 tensioner has a different part number and a bloke on the Yank website mentioned taking his 2018 bike back and they replaced the tensioner with the 2019 unit and it quietened it down.

I have just swapped out my tensioner for the 19 version and can confirm that it is much quieter now.
so I are a happy chappy :D

Part number is: 77036003200, externally it looks identical to the 2018 part but something must be changed inside, perhaps a stronger spring or better oil pathway, whatever it seems to work
