Husqvarna 701
Re: Husqvarna 701
For pity's sake have some of you got nothing better in your lives than diss this guy's bike. Follow the thread by all means but if it's not to your liking don't spoil his enjoyment with your prejudices.

As for the rack looking bulky get a sense of perspective guys, its the camera angle. Here is one with the same rack and rally fairing.

Re: Husqvarna 701
No offence intended, my comment was in awe of the strength, not dissing its looks.
The OP has bought a fantastic bike, see my earlier post. (And yeah, I have a life thanks, see my earlier post )

Hey everyone’s entitled to their opinion and likes and dislikes so hey...
Personally I love it, so much more fun than my bmw yes I admit not as practical but my bmw was my first practical bike I’ve owned and I broke it doing things it wasn’t designed for, throw in a few thousand miles of commuting.
Cheers fried egg I am going to get one of those fairings.. maybe soon!!!
Re: Husqvarna 701
Nope that's one fugly rack which is a statement that would get you punched in an inner city bar. Awesome bike though. ( buy a CB or divvy for commuting that's what they do best) If I had a five bike garage then the 701 would be in it no doubt

Re: Husqvarna 701
having lowered nearly every bike i have owned a word of advise when you chop your sidestand down start with only 10 or 12mm and try it on the bike.12mm will make the bike lean over quite a lot.hope this helps cheers tony.

Re: Husqvarna 701
Even on a standard height bike the side stand is still way to long, chopped 20mm off mine on standard ride height.
Finally back on a GS
